Refund & Cancellation
This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work on JustShoot. It is published in line with Rule 5 of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which requires e-commerce entities to display refund and return terms prominently.
1. Free trial
- The trial is 7 calendar days from signup.
- No credit card or payment method is required to start the trial.
- If you do not subscribe, your account is downgraded to read-only on day 8. Your data is retained for 90 days in case you return.
- The trial cannot be extended or repeated for the same individual.
2. Paid plans
- Price: Starter ₹499/month (3 full video scripts) or Creator ₹999/month (4 scripts), charged at the start of each billing cycle. Unused scripts do not roll over.
- Prices are inclusive of 18% GST.
- Billing cycle starts on the day you provide a payment method and runs monthly from that anniversary date.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay in INR.
3. How to cancel
- Log in at app.justshoot.in.
- Open your profile menu → Billing.
- Click Cancel subscription. Confirm.
You will receive a confirmation email within 2 minutes. If you do not see it, check spam or email support@justshoot.in.
4. What happens after cancellation
- Your access continues at full functionality until the end of your current paid period.
- After the period ends, your account moves to read-only — you can still view existing projects and export their content but cannot run new pipelines.
- After 90 days in read-only state, your content is permanently deleted unless you ask us to delete it sooner or to keep it longer.
- Payment records (invoices) are retained for 7 years per Indian tax law.
5. Refunds
We follow a no-refund-for-partial-months policy, with the following exceptions:
- Sustained outage caused by us, lasting more than 24 consecutive hours within a billing period: pro-rata refund for the affected days.
- Billing error (duplicate charge, charge after cancellation): full refund of the erroneous amount within 7 working days.
- Statutory consumer protections. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable right you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other Indian law.
6. How to request a refund
Email billing@justshoot.in with:
- Your account email.
- The reason for the refund (outage dates, duplicate charge, etc.).
- Any relevant screenshots or invoice IDs.
We respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are credited via the original payment method within 7 working days; UPI refunds typically settle within 24 hours of approval.
7. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, see the Disputes section of the Terms of Service. The grievance officer details for data and consumer complaints are listed in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.
